MedServe Umuahia Diagnostic Centre opened on the 3rd of August, 2020, and boasts of state-of-the-art medical equipment used in our laboratory and radiology services. NO, persons with implants, pacemakers and non-mri comfortable materials cannot get an MRI done
It depends on the body part. CT of the abdomen and pelvis, angiograms and contrast media scan requires about 6-8 hrs fasting. non-contrast and other parts can be done without fasting.
YES. ultrasound scans are done to check if one is pregnant and also to examine the unborn child’s growth and abnormalities
NO. generally only women from 40 years and above can get a breast screening, mammogram is also done for males but for diagnostic purposes. However women below 40years can be given consideration for a mammogram
NO. HSG test is done between the 8-11th day from the onset of menstruation and wil be on a booking basis.
NO. you can walk in at any time and get your x-ray done

The Renal Ultrasound test uses sound waves to study the renal system, which includes the kidneys, bladder and uterus. The test involves kidneys, bladder, uterus, abdomen and back.
The patient should avoid carbonated drinks, such as sodas and seltzers before the test. The patient must have a full bladder for the test, and should not empty his/her bladder until after the renal ultrasound.
